Temporary Block on Abortion Ban EXTENDED

In a huge win for Ohioans, a Cincinnati judge extended his temporary restraining order on the 6-week abortion ban allowing abortions through 20 weeks to continue in Ohio through October 12th.

For three months, Ohioans have been barred access to medical treatment as doctors were forced to send women seeking abortions out of state. This was, of course, after Mike DeWine outlawed abortion at 6 weeks hours after the Dobbs decision came down. We cannot risk going back to this reality. The future of abortion access in Ohio is still unclear and the risk of DeWine – the most anti-abortion Governor in the country – serving another term is too scary to think about.
