They Accuse Us of being Socialists or even Communists?

We can't paint such a broad brush with a label that MAGA uses as a political cudgel. Some aspects of socialism we should rightly reject while others we can embrace. There's a world of difference between democratic socialist societies like Sweden and Denmark versus repressive socialist societies like Cuba or Venezuela. The MAGA-fascists tend to throw them all into the same basket.

With the current levels of record and escalating wage-wealth inequality, our nation is nowhere near being a socialist state, as we really need to fix modern-day capitalism so the working class finally gets a fair shake against the oligarch class who exploit them. I've long argued our capitalist system needs restructured before we fall into socialism out of frustration that so many of our citizens are falling through the cracks.

Full-time workers should rightfully earn a livable wage. That's not the reality for way too many since our economic structure favors those at the very top. As for the socialist or even communist label our opponents like to tag us with as a campaign talking point, the fact is with the current White House occupant, fascism is now a far greater threat for our nation than socialism...
