Indivisible NEO Emergency Rally
In Defense of Our Rights, Our People, and Our Democracy
Time & Location
Apr 26, 2025, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Unitarian Universalist Church, 21600 Shaker Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122, USA
About the event
Dozens of students from CWRU, Ohio State, CSU, Akron, Kent, University of Cincinnati and more have had their visas revoked without reason. Immigrants have been deported, though the Supreme Court has ruled that all people deserve due process before being deported. This is a constitutional crisis. First, inside the church, you will hear from speakers who work with communities impacted by the unlawful actions. Hear from Subodh Chandra—civil rights attorney with a law suit filed against DOGE. Then you rally together outside the church on Shaker Blvd. Wear black in solidarity of the communities being affected. Bring signs that focus on the human lives of the detained and deported immigrants and signs that focus on the 4th and 15th amendment. But most importantly, bring yourselves, as you are, with any signs.
